The ARS Sidekick Bag is a combination personal rope/bailout rope bag and Multi-Loop Rescue Strap Rapid Deployment Bag, designed to marry two tools into one. Ideal for the firefighter who wears a truck belt, this bag provides the basic tools necessary for utility, search, escape, firefighter rescue, and civilian rescue in one compact hip bag.
Constructed from 900D heavy duty nylon, the Sidekick is designed to hold 50' of small diameter rope and associated hardware, along with an ARS Multi-Loop Rescue Strap in its own dedicated pouch on the bottom of the bag. The Sidekick includes both belt loops and velcro strap fasteners to provide a variety of mounting options.
This sidekick bag is well made, compact, and will easily attach to a truck belt, SCBA waist strap, or anywhere else you want it. You can wear it on either side of you depending which way you want the strap to deploy.

Bag seems to be good quality but is left side dominant if you want the strap to deploy forward I like to carry my axe on my left hip so the bag being on the right the rescue strap deploys to the rear wish you could choose what side you wear it on. Bulkier than I thought it would be and a little tough to get the rescue strap to pack in properly but overall good quality
