Could be a little bigger. 2 more feet it would be perfect
Thank you for your feedback. The length of the MLRS, 7 feet, has been settled on as the best length to cover a variety of rescue scenarios. Any shorter, and it would be difficult to fit it around a larger firefighter in full gear. Any longer, and we've found it would be unwieldy for smaller civilian casualties in standard clothing. It is for that reason that we set the length to 7 feet.
As much as I would like to give a product review I really can't. I was sent a link with what exactly to buy. My son growing up running around with that little red plastic fire helmet has finally landed his dream job as a paid fireman so he needed to add some pieces of gear to his collection. I am grateful for businesses like this that keep our men and women safe with quality products.
Outstanding tool and design. Down and dirty strap with unlimited uses, even for us nonrope firefighters. Had one for over a year now, bought two more this year for the guys on my company.
This strap is small and versatile and really great every day carry for my gear. I have one in my turn out gear, one in my water rescue gear, and one at work in my gear.
The simple concept provides seemingly unlimited use. I now keep one in all of my bunker sets. One with my water gear. One in my vehicle. and one in my yard work kit. I've found this thing is perfect for moving 10ft long tree trunks.
I find this to be a well thought out tool and so far it holds up to the intended, and not intended uses.
