The Entropy Rope Bag was designed for Tactical and Search & Rescue personnel needing an efficient transport and deployment platform for small diameter ropes. Modeled after our larger Breakout Rope Bag, the Entropy Rope Bag provides the operator access to both ends of the rope or the middle by opening fully at each end or splitting long ways down the center of the bag, providing endless options for rigging, rope deployment, and mobility.
The Entropy Water Ops Bag includes the same basic design features as the standard Entropy bag, but a significant portion of the body is made out of a heavy duty mesh material to facilitate drainage in wet environments. This bag includes 4 Rows and 3 Columns of MOLLE attachment webbing on one side, and a large handle with mounting tabs for the ARS Water Ops Multi-Loop Rescue Strap Rapid Deployment Bag on the other. Larger than a typical throw bag, the Entropy Water Ops Bag is ideal for boat based down range rope operations, allowing the team to maintain a fast and light deployment model for austere water and rope rescues or movement over complex, wet terrain.
For transport, the Entropy Water Ops Bag comes with two utility straps, one short for Thigh/Leg mounting and one long for Shoulder/Fanny Pack mounting. These straps can be used in conjunction with the loops on the back of the bag to facilitate the various carry options.
The end flaps create a pocket that can be used for stowing rope ends, equipment, or the flaps themselves, while being adjustable to expand or contract the bag depending on the volume of rope inside. The Entropy Water Ops Bag holds an average length of the following rope sizes, dependent upon manufacturer:
11mm - 100', 9.5mm - 150', 8mm - 200' (NAR 8mm HAVOC 150')
The Entropy Water Ops Bag is made in the USA and is available in Orange, Black or Coyote.
