Position Summary

ARS is seeking a dynamic, motivated Office & Customer Service Manager to help us achieve our next stage of growth. This high-impact role is forward facing, often the point of first contact between ARS and our customers and maintaining the administrative balance of a rapidly growing company. The right candidate will bring passion, initiative, empathy, and administrative acumen to maintain our outstanding customer service record and keep our team moving forward—all while ensuring we remain a fun, hardworking, and innovative place to work. Regular part-time (2-4 hours per day) Monday through Friday.  Approximately 50% on site 50% remote.

 


 

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relations & Sales Support: Interface directly with customers to ensure high satisfaction and a great experience with ARS products and services. Managing customer interactions from quote request to delivery to payment. Assist in identifying and pursuing sales leads, managing customer accounts, and following up with prospects. 

  • Office/Administrative Coordination: Provide administrative expertise to manage the office workflow of ARS including communication, scheduling, handling correspondence, event planning, sales team support, supply management, and other administrative needs.

  • Marketing: Assist in the development and implementation of various marketing strategies including email marketing and promotional material design.  

  • Culture Stewardship: Promote a positive, creative, and productive work environment—making ARS not just a place to work, but a place to thrive.

 


 

Qualifications


  • Proven experience as an administrator.

  • Ability to self start and learn on the job.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Sales and customer service experience strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency with business software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, CRM tools).

  • Marketing or Graphic Design experience preferred.

  • Passion for the rescue, safety, or tactical gear industry is a plus.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving small business environment.
